Adobe Presenter and Canvas Concern

Adobe Presenter Files Not Working in Canvas
June 26, 2017

We have received reports that Adobe Presenter files that worked in Canvas last week are not working today.

We have notified Canvas support and they are looking into this concern.

In the meantime, if you have Adobe Presenter files in your Canvas course, here is what we suggest you try.

If your course was developed by TILT, they can help. Contact the TILT instructional designer you worked with.

Many Adobe Presenter files were first PowerPoint files with audio.

  • If you have the original PowerPoint files with the audio, you can convert them to a video following the steps in the article below.
  • You can then place the video in your Canvas course or on a site such as YouTube.
  • Then link to the video from your Canvas course.
